Team conduct policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026 · Version 2026-05-08-01

This is an internal policy for the The Jewish Activist team — anyone we give a sign-in to administer this site. By accepting it you agree to follow the rules below whenever you act on behalf of The Jewish Activist.

1. Truthful campaigning

Don't publish anything containing factual claims you know, or ought reasonably to know, to be false. Our advocacy must be fact-based. Strong opinion is fine; knowingly false statements of fact are not.

2. No harassment, abuse, or threats

Robust criticism of MPs, councillors, officials and institutions is part of what we do. Personal harassment, threats of violence, doxxing, sexual harassment, or stalking are not — whether the target is a public figure, a supporter, a colleague, or anyone else. Always target people in their public role, never in their private capacity. Serious breaches will be referred to the police.

3. No hate speech or discrimination

Don't publish or distribute content that incites hatred against, or discriminates against, anyone on the basis of a protected characteristic under the UK Equality Act 2010 — age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

4. Respect supporters and their data

Supporters trust us with their details. When you handle them:

5. Confidentiality of the community

Don't share the contents of our WhatsApp group, or the identity of anyone in it, outside the group without their permission.

6. Data protection

GPS Network is the data controller for the data we hold. As a team member you must:

7. Account integrity

Don't share your sign-in. Don't impersonate someone else. Don't try to get around rate limits or other safety controls. Report any security concern to office@gpsnet.org.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy when something material changes and bump the version number above. When we do, you'll be asked to accept the new version next time you sign in.

This policy is for the The Jewish Activist team. You only need to accept it once you sign in to administer the site. The public terms apply to everyone at /terms.
