Acceptable use

The Jewish Activist campaigns against antisemitism through lawful, fact-based advocacy. These are the standards we ask everyone who uses this site, takes one of our Action Alerts, or joins our community to keep to. They mirror the standards in our membership application.

When you take action, you must

• Keep your messages lawful, fact-based and non-violent. Make your case on the facts.
• Target people in their public role — for example as an MP, councillor or official — and not in their private capacity.
• Be civil. Robust disagreement is welcome; harassment, threats, and personal abuse are never acceptable.

You must not

• Harass, threaten, intimidate or abuse anyone, including MPs, councillors and officials.
• Post or send content that incites violence or hatred, or that is unlawful under UK law (including defamation).
• Impersonate another person.
• Share the contents of our WhatsApp group, or the identity of anyone in it, outside the group without their permission.
• Misuse the site technically — getting around rate limits or other safeguards, or scraping contact details. Good-faith security research is welcome if you tell us first at office@gpsnet.org.

If someone breaks these standards we may remove them from our community and our communications, and serious or unlawful conduct may be reported to the police.
